Meet The Team

Founder and Clinical Director

Dr. Nolan Gallagher, DC

My patients typically just call me “Dr. G.”

My path to opening Keel started after 12 years as an officer in the Coast Guard. My time in the military was invaluable, mostly because it unlocked the power of perspective associated with consistently showing up for those around you. When I was ready for a new challenge, I wanted to take that same drive and use it to help people overcome the physical roadblocks keeping them from doing what they love. That passion for elevating culture through human performance led me to Palmer College of Chiropractic, Florida Campus, to learn the “art” of the adjustment and start my next chapter.

For the past year, I’ve been treating patients in high-volume clinics across Jacksonville. That fast-paced environment was a great proving ground that highlighted the direct impact Chiropractic can have on anyone is willing to give it a shot. However, it also highlighted the frustrations in modern healthcare: rushed appointments, treating symptoms instead of root causes, and slapping a “quick fix” on a complex problem.

I knew we could do better. I opened Keel to break the mold of expedited visits and isolated providers. By bringing together an integrated team of experts, we actually have the time, the tools, and the shared knowledge to solve the underlying problem and get you back in the game.

Off the Clock – Nocatee is home. My wife Justine (who is a talented wedding florist) and I are incredibly proud to be building our lives here, and we’re currently getting the house ready for our biggest adventure yet: our first baby due in October.

When I’m not at the clinic, I’m usually getting dragged around by our Doberman, Jetty, or “trying” to undo 20 years of baseball mechanics to hit a ball straight on the golf course. I live the same active life I help my patients protect, and I’d be honored to help you protect yours.

LICENSED ATHLETIC TRAINER

Joselyne Gonzalez, MS, LAT, ATC

My name is Joselyne “Josy” Gonzalez, and I am a Licensed Athletic Trainer in the state of Florida with a Master’s Degree in Athletic Training from the University of North Florida. Originally from Panama City, Panama, I moved to South Florida during my teenage years, where my passion for health, fitness, and rehabilitation first began.

I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science and Health Promotion from Florida Atlantic University and spent four years working at a private physical therapy clinic in South Florida as both the Head Personal Trainer and Front Office Manager. In 2023, I relocated to Jacksonville to further my career and pursue graduate school, graduating from UNF in May 2025 with my Master’s Degree in Athletic Training. I have been a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) for over seven years, helping individuals improve strength, mobility, performance, and overall quality of life. I also hold a certification through Barbell Rehab Method, an evidence-based program focused on bridging the gap between strength training and rehabilitation.

I currently work with the dance students at Jacksonville University as their Athletic Trainer, supporting them with injury prevention, recovery, performance care, and rehabilitation. As an Athletic Trainer, I enjoy working with athletes of all backgrounds, including dancers, baseball and football athletes, pickleball players, and everyday “weekend warriors.” While I have a special passion for performing arts athletes, I welcome and enjoy working with individuals of all ages, backgrounds, and fitness levels.

Off the Clock – Outside of work, I enjoy dancing, Pilates, and strength training. A few fun facts about me: right after finding out I had been accepted into UNF, I decided to backpack through Europe solo for two weeks before officially moving to Jacksonville. I am also a proud dog and cat mom to my miniature dachshund, Toolsy Roll, and my tuxedo cat, Cookie Crumble.
